The Evolution of Jesus – A video so simple, even a Christian can understand.

Christians are so silly. It’s 2009 and they are still denying the fact of evolution. Yes, I know it’s just a “theory”. So is “gravity” you fucktards. It’s bizarre that science can eliminate most of the world’s diseases, double each of our life expectancies, and give us technology that is practically indistinguishable from magic; and yet Christians still claim that scientists don’t know what the fuck they are talking about.

There comes a point when you just have to stop humoring these delusional motherfuckers and just start mocking them as the retards they truly are. So this is yet another vid aimed at mocking the Jesus out of my fellow man. I hope you all enjoy it.

Please support atheist artists. If you guys do not support people like me, then videos like this just cannot be made. These things take an enormous amount of time and effort to create, and unlike other artists, I can’t sell them when I’m done. I have to release them for free to the public.

I even let other youtube accounts copy my videos and mirror them to their pages. So most of the views for this video don’t even come from my personal youtube page.

So basically, I’m not trying to whine like a little bitch, but seriously, if you guys want more videos like this to be made then you have to support artist like myself who make them.

How dare you say Jesus was a dark skinned man. Throughout history God Himself has shown preferential treatment toward the glorious white man time and time again. He would never put his magic holy seed in a less than adequate brown lady. Which leads into my next theory: Mary was kidnapped from a God-fearing white country in Europe and enslaved. God rewarded her by knocking her up with Christ, whom I’m pretty sure was born with those rock hard abs. Now, don’t you feel silly?

You know the strange part is, there is probably someone on earth who really believes what you just said.

I could just start my own branch of Christianity by saying ridiculous things with a straight face.

I thought you made a really good point about dropping bombs on Mid Eastern babies. So heartbreaking, yet so very true.

    Dusty,

You could put a blog or video out everyday and I would never tire of them! It’s amazing how, when you step back from your beliefs and take a look around, you instantly see how deranged and petty the whole system actually is. That’s all it takes is just to drop faith for just a moment to see what others see, then nothing else could be more clear than the sheer senselessness of faith and its detrimental effects on the self and society.

I’m hoping that your videos are causing Christians to take this moment and look at the world around them without that mental block. Maybe they’ll find, like I did, that their faith doesn’t make them transcendent and altruistic…nature does through evolution. In fact, belief cuts these emotions short and disconnects the believer from the magnitude of them. Faith makes you less “spiritual”, ironically enough.

Sorry for the rant. Great job on the video!

Very well done – as usual. Disturbing and true. And you sound very manly.

    To Kim,

I couldn’t agree more. As soon as you get out of that cult, it becomes so obvious to you that it was just a cult. Just like all the others.

Little things like participating in rituals where you pretend to drink blood and eat flesh suddenly become very strange. Of course, the entire thing is very strange. It makes me feel like a complete idiot for ever believing any of it to begin with.

But when you are born into it, and everyone you know, love, and trust tells you it is true, it is almost impossible to break away from it. I feel very lucky to have done so.

The biggest problem for me, like I said before, is that I keep wondering what preconceived notion will be shattered next. When you are SO wrong about something, it makes it difficult to trust your own opinion. I wonder if other former Christians feel this way.

    To wongo,

Thanks for the compliment. “Manly” is what I was going for =)

    Dusty,

I can see how you’re constantly waiting for the next illusion-shattering moment…so much has changed about me since I stopped believing.

I was a Republican conservative (yeah, I was one of the IDiots that voted for McCain). Now, I am most certainly not and get half-angry at my husband watching Fox News all the damn time. (I know…I’m working on it.) I was against gay marriage (though I had no problem with gays personally…I was just being obedient to scripture), I was against abortion (again, just being obedient), I rolled my eyes at feminism and global warming, and I was pretty much a bigot about everything else as well (except race…I abhor racists, and always have). I didn’t want to be, and I felt that I was wrong, but those feelings can be easily discarded with, “God, tell Satan to leave me alone!” By placing my guilt onto these imaginary beings, I felt justified once again in my bigotry. The saddest thing is, I was one of the most accepting people in my social circles even then.

I’ll probably get crucified for above paragraph, but I can’t say I don’t deserve it.

My point is, at this point, I’m pretty well accustomed to finding that I’m wrong about everything I’ve ever believed in or had an opinion on. Should anything else crop up, I’d probably respond with a deep sigh and a “It figures!” That doesn’t mean to say that discovering I am wrong about things is less disheartening or shaming as an atheist (Christians!), only that I’m still in the pool of shattered illusions and have gotten used to the water. ;)

You certainly won’t get crucified by me. My story is very similar. I was a big Fox News watcher. Never missed Bill O’Reilly every night. I remember watching live as the bombs started dropping on Baghdad. I was as giddy as a schoolchild. It was like the worlds greatest fireworks show and I watched it excitedly for hours.

It didn’t even click in my mind that these were people getting killed. That lives were ending right before my eyes. I had this bizarre distance from it. It must have been very much like what the German citizens felt as they stood by and let atrocity be committed in their names.

I was also against abortion, global warming, feminism, and anything else the conservative leaders told me I should be against.

Your last sentence is brilliantly written. I too am in the pool of shattered illusions with you. Surprisingly, I find the water to be cool and soothing.

Are you on twitter? If you ever decide to get on there look me up @cultofdusty.

    Hey Kat,

I’m sure you’re a “nice” dude in real life (you know, despite the fact that you support torture and the horrible acts of the God of the bible) but I just don’t understand how a sane, rational human being can not think a magical ghosts talking to them is bat shit crazy.

I don’t require forgiveness for anything. I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m sorry that you feel like such a loser that you need someone to forgive you for just being human, but I don’t feel that way. I am what I am and I am unashamed.

Fuck anyone who tells me I should be ashamed of who I am, and that includes you my friend.

Dusty – some words I came across while reading “Forward the Foundation” by Isaac Asimov:

“Being feared is nothing. Being despised , even, can be lived
with. But being laughed at – that’s fatal.”

    Food for thought.

    Bon Appetit,
    Liz

I’ve been having a lot of people tell me about Isaac Asimov. I simply must find time to read some how his work.

Agree totally Wongo. Christians are already becoming the laughing stocks of this country. It is just a matter of time before they collapse under the weight of mockery.

Thanks for stopping by. Don’t be a stranger!
